The Spotted Lanternfly (SLF), is a new invasive insect to the United States that has spread throughout southeastern Pennsylvania since its discovery in 2014. SLF presents a significant threat to Pennsylvania agriculture and can cause tremendous property damage if left unchecked. SLF made its presence known in Bethel Township in the summer of 2019.
